Edit, re-write, add, polish
I've learned a valuable lesson. Work begins with editing, not when writing the first draft. I started the editing process on Daughter of the South Wind at the end of March. And, well, life and another project got in the way. I restarted with a vengeance on Memorial day. I'm proud to say I am 65% complete with the edits. Four chapter adds, two chapter splits that included a lot of new dialogue, a plethora of secondary plot line inserts, and still more to go. Can I get it done in a week? We shall see.
